On a normal day, someone like you me and they
Might do several things and they might, maybe go like this.
I drive my car, not very far, but it's so goddamn cold right and I need to get to places like the grocerystore,
Where I buy some dead animals wrapped in plastic, which I don't like,
but a girl's gotta eat right yeah
I have a silent moment for their tortured lives, but then I carry with my chores and buy some more stuff that I like.

My life makes pollution
your life is consumption
endless substance distribution

my life makes immigration
your life makes segregation
rich white priviledge domination

All is fine with me, but there are times I cannot be
And I contemplate the gloomy fate our lives here generate
The people down the line will want the same as you and I
But I ask myself, will there be anything for them to sing about?
